Noel Brunning (Independent)
Noel Brunning is best known as the anchor of the Golden West News on
the Golden West Network. Noel is running as an Independent candidate
for Forrest in 2007. Noel will not be preference either major party at
the elcetion.
Noel took an unexpected break during the campaign when he was told
by his doctor to take a short break from campaigning. This has not
seemed to hurt his electoral profile and has largely been forgotted by
the public.
Noel must poll second on primary votes if he is to have a chance at the
election. At the last election the ALP polled around 28% of the primary
vote, with this expected to increase Noel's challenge will be
difficult.
Personal Info
Noel was born on Christmas Day 1966 in Subiaco and has three children
with his partner Julia. Noel moved to the bush in 1985 and besides
anchoring the GWN news he operates a restaurant in Bunbury.
